One SONY VAIO PCG-NV200 laptop computer. Bought
new in 2003. This is more of a desktop-substitute
than a travel computer [*], weighing ca. 8 pounds.
It has an expansion bay that accomodates (these
are included) either a speaker subwoofer, 3.5"
disk drive, or ten-key pad. Built in DVD-CD R/RW
drive. 15" diameter screen, 1024x768 resolution.
1.7 GHz Intel Pentium Mobile processor. 512MB RAM
(also the max. installable). 30 GB hard disk.
Built-in wireless LAN (10 MBps), Ethernet port,
modem. The hard disk will be wiped before the
computer is sent, but I will include the complete
set of system and application recovery CDs
(includes Windows XP Home operating system) that
came with the computer, so all software it came
with can be reinstalled. I found a small photo
of this computer model at:

--------------------------- [*] Also because:
Everything works, except the screen hinge is
weak, so the screen has about 20 degrees of
back-and-forth loose play. Not a problem when
using the computer on a desk. The battery does
not hold a charge for more than about ten minutes
anymore, so the computer generally needs to be
kept plugged in.
